Who We Are​

Established in 1992, Ewald Plekker Architects is a small architectural practice based on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast. The practice is led by Ewald and Angela Plekker and supported by a skilled team of technical staff.

Since its inception, the practice has undertaken and completed a diverse range of projects, including individual homes, residential developments, commercial and industrial buildings, as well as educational and hospitality facilities.

What the Practice Does​

The practice follows a design approach rooted in fully understanding the unique needs of each client and exploring the full potential of every site. Design solutions are developed through a logical and rational process that considers project budgets, site parameters, and appropriate technological options.

A comprehensive range of professional architectural services is offered, including:

• Conceptual masterplanning

• Feasibility studies and sketch design

• Technical documentation for both statutory approvals and construction

• Contract administration and site oversight during the construction phase

• Post-construction close-out services
